I took this photo at my eldest son Brian & Lesley’s house....loved the placing of the old tractor. NZ is going into winter now so they will need their wood!
I have been so busy since we came home....ringing people up, thanking the folks that helped out with the house while we were away, checking mail, changing SIM card back etc etc. Small things but it seems to take lots of time. Every time Harry came in today I was on the phone.
Everywhere is so quiet, we lie in bed in the morning & hear nothing! We live in a quiet place anyway but not to hear any noise from the distant road is very odd.
Three good things:
1. Safe home!
2. Kind neighbours.
3. Daughters that run around after us!
You're alright for wood then! Brian and Lesley can keep you stocked up! Love the old tractor. It is a busy time when you come home, but hope you two get to relax again soon.
Life has completely changed for all of us and will take a lot of time to go back to what we had a few months ago, if it will go in the end. One thing we have to learn when this is over is to have courage and go out and meet friends and do our errands without the fearful feeling that we would get sick.
