I don’t know the name of this little climber but every year it seems to come from nowhere. It’s very pretty.
Three good things:
1. Another hot day...great for our walking exercise & then a good book in the afternoon!
2. Chicken soup made from our weekend Sunday lunch. Even though it’s warm it’s still good!
3. Talking about hens.
@julzmaioro No just checked this plant is very fine these are tiny little flowers & just a very thin stem...the Lavatory creeper looks much thicker stems & thicker on the wall. That’s my thought though I could be wrong. It looks more like an aubretia or sort of alpine plant! Even lobelia type...
My granddaughter Alex in NZ has cracked it. She is an Agriculture Manager so has an App to help her check out weeds she’s not sure of when walking around crops.
It’s an Ivy leafed toadflax. Cymbalaria Muralis.
@happypat Good - toadflax comes to mind now that you have mentioned it ! Pat So good to be able to find out these things, whether we shall remember it ! ha ! Well done Alex .
That title is just so Summery! I have to say, it is more tolerable to go through Lockdown now than it would have been in the cold, wet and Winter, eh? Thankful for small mercies. How's your sis in law now?
@casablanca She got special medication to get rid of the long term infection in her kidney Casa. She seems to be much better....sitting in the sun in Cumbria enjoying my brothers cooking! Thanks for asking. Another negative CD19 test so all seems well. This weather is lovely. I came back with a tan & I have more now....long hair & a brown face...a sixty of hippy look! 😳
@happypat Oh so glad to hear that. Hopefully the medication will sort her out now. Ha ha, love the idea of the hippy look! I will just grow some new freckles. I always look I have sunbathed under a tea strainer LOL!!
