Greenhouse eating! by happypat

Greenhouse eating!

On my walk yesterday I came into the Cartford Inn area from the back entrance.
It’s all closed up of course as all restaurants can’t open. They are very enterprising & doing posh is take away meals Thursdays to Sunday’s.
I did wonder what this row of greenhouses were then on FB there was a post saying that this enterprising restaurant was going to copy Amsterdam & serve meals in these glass dining areas. Not in situ yet but watch this space!

Three good things:
1. A very wet day so no going outside but I ran up & down on the spot very fast several times today!
2. My two month free trial of Kindle Unlimited has ended today. The book I was one third through vanished but when I looked at the price it was only 99p so I bought it!
3. We have half a gammon joint left over from last nights meal....will eat it up tonight with homemade chips & then the rest of the rhubarb crumble!

That will be a lovely place to eat. Our restaurants have all opened, at 50% occupancy. They did take out for the three months they were closed and most have survived. They all still offer takeout but it’s so nice to go in to the restaurant and have lunch or dinner.

@louannwarren It is Lou Ann, specially for us women....Sadly the best restaurant in Great Eccleston has just gone into liquidation along with all the others in the group. It was a great place to eat too.

I'm sure this will be a nice place to eat,
Our restaurants are open, 30 people, 1,5m distance.

What a great idea - and a lovely place to eat - I always like to sit in the garden rooms of conservatories if there is one available with an eatery !

I like the convenience of left over meals. We manage to have at least one a week!

Great idea.. these businesses need to think outside the square to get things going again.. and they can grow tomatoes for the salads in there aswell..

I'm sure the people around will support the restaurants once you come out of lockdown! They certainly are here - so busy! You just have to survive until that happens!

That sounds a lovely place for a restaurant, those possibly very warm in Summer! Great bargain on the book, eh?
