This is Gus.
He had some sort of accident the other night. Our daughter whose cat it is though he had perhaps been hit by a car but he has some strange scratches on his paws...they are quite deep, could be barbed wire marks.
The vet says he’s cracked his pelvis but it will heal itself, just on antibiotics & pain killers.
He has improved in a day even but he’s under house arrest for two weeks!
Three good things:
1. Talking of cats we have just picked up our granddaughters cat, staying with us until Friday/Saturday. I have been surprised how quickly he’s settled in this time. I think he remembered from last time what a lovely time he had.
2. We met the builder this morning who is going to do our house up. All sounds promising!
3. I have emptied the stone troughs we are taking with us...good to get it done before green bin day.
So he is on lockdown and he will realise how difficult it was for you staying inside all those days. He is very cute and hopefully will mend in a few days.
