I took this photo at the same time as I took yesterday’s photo. Just going dusk & a quarter moon out.
Next doors cat Belle was sitting quietly on our wall watching the nightlife.
You can see the converted barns over our wall.
The gable end on the right is my old calf place & the far one is the newly converted barn where we used to do the milking.
Three good things:
1. I have spent a lazy afternoon watching catch up TV & the excellent Des....the Dennis Nielsen story.
2. I did do a bit of sorting this morning, more stuff for the charity shop!
3. Struggling to think of a third one among all this awful new regulations with COVID. When is it ever going to end?
I know I'm gutted about being told to work from home again. Had just started going in one day a week, and it feels really safe. All measures in place at work, easy to keep distance from colleagues and tube much quieter and most people wearing masks.
And I'm fretting for all the businesses there, losing even more trade.
@boxplayer I can’t think of anything worse than having to work from home...I would have no motivation at all plus all that chit chat with colleagues....coffee at lunch time etc....I feel for you! I really think that one is a bad decision....sadly it’s the recreational behaviour I feel is the culprit in my eyes!
It’s so lovely to have a peep into your view and must be nice for you to know your buildings are well loved. This Covid virus is so devastating in so many ways.
Our moon is on the other side - one day I'll work it out! These brick buildings are so close to your yard! But no windows to see into the yard .Might make it a very sheltered yard!
Gosh. I remember your photographs from when these barns were waiting to be converted. They are looking very smart now but always a time of nostalgia for when they were a working farm.
@beryl I think it was yours...oh dear...this sign cane up & I must have pressed wrong button!!

@maggiemae Our moon is on the other side because we are upside down Maggie. That's why the blood rushes to our heads. ha ha
Lovely photo btw.
