I took Connie down the Lane on her walk passing our nephews sheep as we went.
She was raring to get off the lead & chase them...
Three good things:
1. We have become great grandparents! Our granddaughter had a baby girl a week ago but she’s been in intensive care then special baby care but now home & doing well. Alex & Simon have called her Nina.
2. Spent lots of time last night & all day today keeping track of the American election. There’s going to be trouble ahead I can see! I love anything to do with elections!
3. We had a gardening firm come & look at the work we want doing to get this neglected area ship shape again. Going to give us a quote...won’t be cheap to do it properly!
Ooh what excitement watching the Sheep and cattle -- she will learn not to chase them !! Congrats on becoming great grand parents - glad bby is finally home and doing well ! - Love the name NINA !
Connie could easily get through this fence - the urge to chase is always there- unless you are the chased! Congrats to Alex and Simon! I'm pleased you are getting a quote for doing the garden properly - you will never regret it!
@maggiemae No we won’t & have decided to go with the best team around...we need a firm with proper machines! They will do it properly. Connie was on the lead...she would have been through that fence like a shot although if they had chased her she would have been terrified!
Congratulations on becoming a great grandmother. My pal Jeannie is a great grandma and her great granddaughter who is now 2 years old calls her Gigi (as in the movie), pronounced in the French way of course. Jeannie thinks it is more sexy than simply great grandma.
@gijsje@onewing Ha ha Babs...I remember that film & always loved it ...I think I should find a more with it name but as Nina lives in NZ she won’t know her great granny that well so perhaps not!
Good for your friend I say...she has the right idea! @obsidian
Congratulations on your wonderful news!! Lovely to have another baby in the family - lots of cuddles ahead!! Good luck with the garden - you do get what you pay for I always think!!
Lovely rural shot and composition. I can sense Connie considering options to get over that barrier and chase the cows. Congratulations on the birth of a great grandchild. Christine and I most probably won't have the pleasure to be great grand parents.
A lovely day to go out for a walk.
Nice picture!
