I was sitting in my chair & just happened to glance out of our window & saw the evening sun was just hitting the trees & overgrown borders of the garden.
I shot out if the door & managed to catch this photo. A couple of minutes later it was gone!
The elm tree is on the right.
Three good thing:
1. I’ve posted a couple of parcels off to NZ hopefully well in time for Christmas.
2. I was able to pop round to my friends...it’s her birthday today, I took her a card & a present. We chatted over the garden gate.
3. The library van stops outside our new place. It was there this morning for twenty minutes. I have been using the library at Garstang but wil also try & use the mobile one too....it might be very handy if I can’t go into town anytime.
We weren’t allowed inside today so I just left the books I had read.
Such a glorious glow from the dying sun ! You did well to capture the moment So good to have a mobile library esp in the winter months when you my not feel like going to Garstang . I remember how pleased my mum was to have the mobile Library calling once a fortnight and stopping just otside our home !
Sorry to reply to you all at once but I got a bit involved with all the cooking programmes on TV last night!
I’m not that great a cook but do enjoy the odd baking & cooking competition & both ones I watch were on last night !!
Thank you all.....I will keep you up to date through 365 of our renovations etc....you will be sick of looking in a bit !
We are excited to get started! Xx
