Jack took this photo!
This is where we are staying while the bungalow is being altered. It has a rather nice little courtyard as you can see here.
The sun comes round mid afternoon & I’m looking forward to warmer weather for reading afternoons.
Three good things:
1. Shopping this morning...the fridge was empty!
2. Our DIL birthday today in NZ. Happy birthday Lesley! Xx😘😘
3. I had my car washed again in the automatic drive through car wash. Quite an unnerving feeling....had to be done though as where my car is parked at the moment it’s getting filthy! Unmade road but cars cut through & the dust is flying all over it!
Very sad news today too. Some of you may remember my cinema friends grandson Charlie who had the brain tumour. Sad to say he died last evening surrounded by his family. It must have been quite sudden in the end as he was as usual last weekend when I talked to Dot! The tumour was so aggressive & had multiplied from a clear scan to 9 tumours two months later. A blessing it was quick but they are of course devastated....such a brave boy of only six years old.
A lovely shot of you both - you have a sheltered corner there facing the sun Pat . Yes we all seem to be "long-haired lovers from Liverpool " at the moment waiting for that magic moment next week when we can have an appointment with the hairdresser - Lynne ,my hairdresser phoned me about a fortnight ago - so I have booked her for the Wednesday morning - the day she usually comes to trim my hair !
Lovely shot of the girls! I saw your post about brave little Charlie- unimaginably painful and so hard for grandparents upset for their children as well as their own loss.
I do remember Charlie. I’m so sorry, bless his little heart. This is a sweet photo of you and Connie, at least your long hair has been manageable, it looks very nice. If you are like me though, you prefer short hair.
Looks like quite a little sun trap. Connie seems to be enjnoying the sunshine too.
So sorry to hear about Charlie, what a hard life he had and his family too. I did wonder about him a few weeks ago but didn't dare ask. To lose a child is devastating, but to lose one so young is even worse. I do hope he is at peace now.
Lovely sunny spot with Connie!
So sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. It must be devastating for those of you who knew of his battle at such a young age. Will be praying for comfort and strength the coming days.
Delightful shot of you and your buddy! Jack did well.
My heart hurts for the family of little Charlie. I am so sorry that brave little guy lost his fight. Life can be so random and unfair.
You look so comfy here with the dog. What a very sad narrative though to read that Charlie has lost the fight. His poor family -- I cannot imagine what they are going through.
I some how missed this lovely shot of you and Connie.. looki g great
So sad to hear about Charlie he certainly sounded that he and his family put up a very brave fight.. devastating to all close to him...
So sorry to read about young Charlie. Especially in contrast to Prince Philip's long and happy life. Sometimes Life is just not fair.
You look lovely, BTW.

Your possie looks good and I can see how close it is to the walking track.

So sorry for Charlie's family. I'm sure they will treasure the memories but such a short time together. 🥰
You look lovely, BTW.
