All these small heating pipes weaving over the whole house....full of water & waiting to be connected up eventually to the hearing system.
This is the only time we can see them as in the next few days they will be covered with concrete.
Andy is covering in the underside of my little overhang verandah.
Three good things:
1. I have been to my friend Dots house today for a good old chat & a bit of lunch!
2. I bought two strong clothes rails in the local marketplace.....collected them this morning, a bargain. We will use them over the next few weeks when we move out of our rented accommodation & while waiting for our new wardrobes to be built.
3. Tarleton new potatoes with butter!
This is awesome! You will be so cozy and snug in the cold weather with your toasty floors. I’ve always wanted heated floors in my bathrooms. The marble is so cold in the winter!
And I’m with you on enjoying new potatoes with butter...lots of butter...and a few snipped chives tossed in.
I've never seen these piping systems before - now I know what's under our bathroom floor! I think ours were not water, but heating coils. No new potatoes for us but as an aside, I quite like (love) hot buttered toast!
Oh heaven to have heated floors. My neighbors have it in their kitchen and it is wonderfully cozy. Connie will love it, too, to lay on the warm floor and be able to look outside.
