This is Justine our tiler. She has done an excellent job so far. All tiled except the skirting bit. Not sure what the proper name is but it means the tiles continue up the wall a bit.
All grouted now so she has just one wet room still to do yet.
We were thrilled with it all when we went to look today.
The decking boards, the box frame for the shed roof plus the roller doors are the only things we are having to wait for.
Three good things:
1. Harry has had his hair cut.
2. I sat in the garden this afternoon & read my book. Anatomy of a Scandal by Sarah Vaughan. It’s very good.
3. The lights I ordered & were down for delivery still haven’t arrived. Hermes reckoned they couldn’t find the house despite postcodes. They don’t like it when there are no numbers just names. However the firm I bought them off is replacing them & sending them out by DPD...
Oh my goodness! Won’t be long till move in day at this rate! Justine did a beautiful job with the tile. And good for Harry being on scene to inspect the progress! All good.
