Treating the sheep. by happypat

Treating the sheep.

Edward & Charlotte spraying antibiotic on the tups feet.
They also put blue raddle stuff on his undercarriage to show them how which sheep he has tupped, a very important task at this time of the year!
The sun was in the wrong place so this photo isn’t the best!
Many thanks for all your comments & faves on my last couple of photos….very grateful.

Three good things:
1. We have just spoken to both grandsons in NZ. They were eating pancakes for breakfast.
2. I have painted the last door, still some painting to do round the door frames but we can now remove the layers of plastic so we can see through them
3. One coat, non drip paint…..I was so fed up with the original paint I had bought which was taking too many coats & dripping all over the place that I drive to B&Q & bought some more.
Great capture

I never knew a tup was a male sheep! Not 'ram'? All that bending - good young and strong backs!

@maggiemae We never call them rams maggie well not round here we don’t….I think a ram has big horns perhaps. Tups are the working man of the sheep world! 🤣

@jamibann sheep are often needing pedicures & if a tup has lame feet he’s going to be slack on the job!!

Very nice and very interesting too. It looks hard work having to do the same for all the sheep.
