Two seagulls on a post. by happypat

Two seagulls on a post.

A photo from yesterdays walk.
Similar day today, damp & grey.
I have had a cold this week & it’s gone on my chest today & I can hardly talk.
Just popped to the village shop & Derek the owner who also happens to be our next door neighbour said ‘Ah the perfect wife’! when I told him!
Rather controversial in this day & age but I laughed!

Three good things:
1. My flow test was negative.
2. I’ve had my hair cut at the hairdressers.
3. There are red lights in the wood burning stove. It actually looks quite effective!
I love the layers in your photo. And the seagulls....best place for them!!
Glad your test was negative and hope you feel fine soon. X

Ha ha, cheeky man! Get well soon, dear Pat. Have you tried making tea with thyme? A little honey optional. My French friend taught me that trick as the thymol compound in the thyme acts like an inhaler and loosen mucus in the chest, opening the airways. Just a little dried thyme infused and then sipped while still hot.

@casablanca Thank you so much Casa I will definitely try that…I have some thyme in my cupboard. I think it feels a bit looser this morning but I still croaking away. I slept well too for the first time for ages…..I was so tired last night. Big day tomorrow so I need to be on the ball.! Xxx
