Above Hawkshead

St Michaels & All Angels Church stands high above the village.
We walked round the church path & from there you can see over the streets & little shops.
Connie surveying her second home!

Three good things:
1. Called in at the garden centre & purchased three primrose plants, one Helleborus, one Sarcococca & one Mahonia. A morning in the garden tomorrow planting them. Wish I could wake up in the morning & they were in already! Now that would be a massive good thing!
2. Coming to the end of The Fall a book about Robert Maxwell.
3. I took my engagement ring into the jewellers as it has a bit of one of the claws sticking up. Under examination it turns out it’s very worn & needs completely re setting…..not a good thing! It’s in for an estimate!
A lovely looking place, have been once or twice.

Such a great vantage point to look down on the village . You are going to be busy planting out in the next day or so !

All those grey roofs! Interesting buildings - look old and probably are! I took some earrings into the jeweller as one of the stems has broken off - estimate $95! But had to do it!

Mine completely wore down, so that my diamond fell out. I was beyond myself with sadness but the next day found the diamond in the blanket on our bed. Took ages to get fixed but I will keep an eye on it now,

@newbank Ooh that was lucky Ruth….I was frightened mine would come out too but I had no idea it was as bad as they say. Three stone so will cost a bit to repair I fear.

@maggiemae I’m thinking into a few hundred pounds Maggie but only guessing. If it’s too much I will have to think about it & perhaps just wear it when I go out somewhere special & not all the time as I do now.

Not been there for a few years Pat..funny,sorting through jewellery yesterday, when I couldn't do else much with the carpet men about. Found a diamond ring of my mum's..which needs a bit of attention ..will have see the cost too

Just popping in briefly today with a diary shot so thought I would check out 365 while I was having my morning cuppa.

Connie is really enjoying her walks with you.

Hope the cost of repairing your ring isn't too expensive.

Connie is such a pretty dog. The American cockers have huge domed heads, and droopy bulgy eyes. And hard to potty train.

I like how you convey the feel of the village.
