Long married life

Couldn’t help but laugh at this couple on the table next to us……looked familiar!

We have been out to buy a new bed. After much dithering on my part we have gone for a king size instead of twin beds. Twin beds take up so much space, we did think about zip & link & also super king but in the end have just gone for a bit larger bed.
Of course it doesn't stop there…..different size bedding plus electric blanket needed!
Just remembered I start my thirteenth year on 365 today!

Three good things:
1. A truly terrible day, it was nice to come home & light the fire & watch the Six Nations rugby.
2. A nice lunch out but oh dear we had to wait so long to be served, never again in a busy Saturday!
3. Our eldest grandchildren who live in NZ are 29 years old today. Happy birthday William & Alex

Sorry mass reply but have had a busy evening talking to one of the birthday grandchildren. Lots of news at the moment as new job to discuss & great granddaughter to chat to….other birthday boy was supposed to do a tandem free fall from plane but too cloudy…he was disappointed apparently! 😳

Yes not just the bed to change but everything else…..all ready for visitors when it arrives!

@phil_howcroft Yes you are right Phil….I thought I was starting my thirteenth….it’s that long I got muddled. Doesn’t help that my years aren’t separate…all together in one long album. I think the way I wrote it confused me too! So I’m starting my 12th year not finishing it! I know it seems a very longtime since you & I started! 🤣🤣

Very familiar scene especially in the younger generations. Very often two young lovers sit at restaurant tables for hours without saying a word to each other, both absorbed in their mobiles. Pity.
