Cyperus by happypat

Cyperus

As long as I remember to give this indoor plant loads of water it thrives!
It’s rather beautiful being bright green & with pretty feathery fronds.
I have just read it’s common name is Umbrella Plant & native to the swamps of Madagascar!

Three good things:
1. Invited out for two lunches this week, one Thursday & one Friday both mostly free!
2. Our water bowl for dogs is very popular!
3. Fried onions!
How very lovely. Enjoy your free lunches ☺️

@julzmaioro Well that’s interesting as it needs loads of water! The Red Rooster grass we bought the other day turned out to be a NZ sedge….I expect they both grow wild in your country!!

Beautiful plant and shot. Probably used to monsoon climate that is why it needs a lot of water.
