Lots of basement shops in this street.
I liked the mixture of donuts & wedding dresses.
Three good things:
1.I have found a really good nursery selling plants. Well Dot found it & told me. I went this afternoon & bought eight well grown plants for my planters all for £27.
2. Another afternoon weeding.
3. We had two lovely bird art garden ornaments given to us a couple of years ago. One from NZ & one from the UK. We have put them in the garden at last.
Quaint little shops.. but bridal shop first then donut shop.
I bought a bird garden ornament from Taupo.. it is made from knife forks dnd spoons.. some people are very clever..
@julzmaioro Ours are those metal work birds you knock into a tree….I have put one in the ground as it’s the right way up then & the other we banged in the trunk of the big tree in the garden. They are better as silhouettes so have to think where we have put them… might get moved yet!
A nice looking shop - does the name of the shop suggest that the dresses are pre-loved ! Good to have found a good garden nursery , very often cheaper than these large company garden centres ! Plants like everything else seem to have got quite expensive ! I have quite a lot of bedding geraniums when G can help me to plant them , but this morning the soil was so dry and just like dust -- but we have had quite a wet afternoon ! - so we may be able to plant when we are both at home next !
@julzmaioro Good guess Julz. The other is a bird with a fan tail. Both by the same guy but one made in Nz & the other in the uk. The Nz one is much superior made!
