I stopped in the middle of the road as we were driving Jack home yesterday. No one behind me so I managed to get a quick shot.
It’s normally the Whit Festival in Garstang on the bank holiday Monday but it’s on Friday this week instead.
Lots of decorated floats & the crowning of the festival queen.
It’s certainly going to be a full on few days from Thursday onwards.
My iPad was updated during the night & I’ve had problems loading 365 tonight. A security problem I think but it seems OK now.
Three good things:
1. We have the wood burner on tonight & I can see smoke coming out of all out immediate neighbours chimneys!
2. We have been pruning a shrub we moved last year & there are a lot of dead branches….green bin tomorrow so we got round to doing it.
3. The plumber came to fix a small problem in the bathroom with one oh the fixtures.
Buntings from all corners of the world it seems ! Doesn't it brighten things up and looks so festive !
I had the same problem with getting onto 365 for security reasons but OK now -- I had come to the conclusion it was the result of the small tremor we had in Wellington and the Telford area around 3.30p( I did not feel anything of it ! although Fb is buzzing about it !! ). Must pop out now to try and find something to post !!
@beryl Jack looked online & he said there did seem to be a slight problem with posting today. I blamed the update. I never like them as it always seems to add some tiny difference to iPad life! 🤣
@maggiemae Yes it is, the more you say it the weirder it is! Running out of bunting here they say!! I have lots but did t want to overdo it! We used to decorate our lane when we lived at the farm….Harry says there isn’t a flag up there this year….they need someone t to organise it…it always needs someone . We have two just a few doors away who are great organisers! 😀
