A long row of cow parsley along the canal bank…it went on as far as the eye could see until you turned a corner. This was only half way along before I thought to take a picture.
Three good things:
1. A delicious Danish pastry with custard filling.
2. So much organising involved with a dinner dance, luckily our friend is on the ball & works so hard at it. Spoke to her on the phone just now….she has things colour coded…organisation!
3. Connie & I went to se a friends new plantation shutters tonight….I love them!
We love our plantation shutters, best thing we ever bought and so easy clean. We used to have venetians in some of the rooms and curtains in others but have replaced them with shutters in our bedroom, the living room, dining room, two of our other bedrooms and the bathroom. We still have vertical blinds in the family room, rumpus room and study because they all have glass sliding doors on them and our ensuite bathroom and the kitchen windows have holland blinds.
@onewing I love plantation shutters & would have loved them her but too much glass. Brenda’s are so nice but her house is old & more cottagey than ours. @busylady they are a frame that fits inside the window & an inner frame where you can have the top or each half open at a time. Slats across that you can open or shut with just the movement of an inner piece….hard to describe but they are expensive & classy! I see quite a few in the village now.
