Me

Jack unearthed this old photo of me taken 30 years ago on the eve of our daughters wedding.
Seems a long time ago but I don’t actually have many photos of me so I was delighted.
Our old faithful Labrador Jenny there too!

Two good things & one bad thing:
1. The machine has been & compacted the ground all ready fit the first layer of tarmac on Saturday.
2. Did all my shopping in the village this morning….there are trolleys!
3. We were truly shocked at the price of two skips used to take our old tiles away….£576……outrageous! 😡😫
Look at you - what a lovely photo. The price of those skips does seem outrageous!

What a lovely photo.. You don't look any different.. Yes us photographers are on the wrong side of the camera most of the time.

Great, and the photo doesn't even look 30 years old.

What a lovely photo!- and I did recognise you before I spotted your name, glad you were not on the wrong side of the camera for this one! I am sure you have found the 30years gone quickly.
The price of your skips sound ridiculous - were they lined with gold!!!

Fabulous photo Pat! Love it. And how lovely to see your old faithful pet, too. Sorry about the skip cost ... I remember being horrified at the cost of 2 skips for dad's house. Way more than yours ... but then we had the largest size skips and also the transport cost for getting them to Braemar. We had no choice really - no other way. Hopefully your job is being done well though.

@jamibann Yours were more! Well that’s reassuring as we really thought we had been ripped off! The tarmac chap ordered them so I think I would have asked for a price first as we did when we moved.
The girl on the phone did apologise but really I can’t see why they had to raise the price so much….their costs would be much the same except for transport. It’s the times of course! 😫

Lovely....was this at your old farmhouse? I remember lovely photos of the wedding that first time we were B&B guests with you. The best of times. And who would have thought we would still be in touch so regularly!!
