No photo again today so a dig into the archives.
Taken at the Westmoreland Show in the crafts marquee on the day the Queen died.
These lace makers were very chatty & very willing to explain how they worked but not being a craft person it all went over my head. Very clever though!
Three good things:
1. Friends for lunch.
2. Earphones.
3. Garlic bread.
Nice shot, love the expression of concentration on her face. They are fascinating to watch aren't they. I would get completely lost. I wonder if it is easy to unpick if you go wrong like in knitting.
@onewing No idea Babs, it went way over my head & she dud explain the moves. I suppose knitting would look complicated to start with….I very bad with patience in such things!
@phil_howcroft Well thank you kind sir!,, I never thought of photography like that but you’re right good photographers are very artistic! I think if I had a half way decent camera & the will to learn how to use it I might be ok! I feel in the old days I was taking much better pictures than I do now!
Very complicated& not for me sadly….I do like lace but it was very fine & you would have to have good eyesight!
