Waiting….

A lovely sunny afternoon so took myself off for a walk in the sun.
The pavements were slippery so I walked on the side of the road where the gritter had been.

I sat on this bench outside the new delicatessen. It was busy inside & a table of four drinking coffee, it was good to see business doing well.

I bought some Lancashire salad , similar to Waldorf salad with apple, grapes & walnuts.
I like it!

I walked home in time to watch Escape to the Country by the fire.
