After I had been for my stroke assessment we called into Poulton Le Fylde for some odds & ends.
This grocery shop was selling punnets of strawberries so we picked one out & took it to the counter!
One chap put them in a bag but the other chap said leave those there are newer ones in the back!
He returned with a few boxes of much nicer fresher ones……how kind!
We have had half tonight with ice cream.
Service with a smile plus we don’t normally shop in Poulton!
That is very nice of the chap to point out which to take. Very often shops hide the fresher ones to get rid of the older. I love strawberries; we've had strawberries after lunch every day for weeks.
