Garden centre

We took ourselves off the our local garden centre this morning.
We got there before the weekend crowds & bought a couple of plants to fill the gap where the chick weed was!
I must say Barton Grange looked amazing…..well stocked with plants etc & all well watered.
We came home with a bush tomato plant in a pot….it was so successful last year & it’s nice having a warm sun ripened tomato off your own deck.
Such a wonderful sight! and a lovely place to visit - I am very dubious in buying any plants at the moment due to the drought and wonder if anything will survive !!

What a goodcidea. I haven't grown any tomatoes this year with being away. Maybe I won't be too late to buy some when I get back.

It does look a good Garden centre.. The tomato would be great, hope it yields well..

They would have to have a very good reason over here to put a polar bear in a Garden Centre, @phil_howcroft ! Time to spend - an hour or so here - difficult to choose.

It looks very well stocked. One that we usually go to, was very sparsely stocked last week, had to go elsewhere.
