Eileen & I had a lovely long walk by the river this afternoon. A lovely Autumn day & we came home with a pocket full of chestnuts each !! The elderberries & red fruits from some bush I'm not sure of the name of were out & there was a real Autumn feel to the air!! Afterwards we treated ourselves to a coffee at the garden centre but resisted a cake !!!
I recognise this Mum! You were on our doorstep, shame I was at work!! Looking at this makes me realise how much I take my beautiful surroundings for granted... X
What an abolutely gorgeous place to take a walk through!! Great angle and pof, Pat! Definitely has a Fall feel to it. (Maybe you could have shared a slice of cake??!!)
Beautiful shot and beautiful composition and Monty would love walking there with a river to keep dipping in to. I miss that sort of fast flowing river - all of ours are slow as they don't really have a gradient to run down! Good work on the cake! I've just opened our fridge and there's an empty cake-plate in there (only Adam would do that!) so it looks like I'm 'on the wagon' as well.
This is a glorious autumn photo Pat - what a gorgeous part of the world you live in. You are very good to have resisted the cake - I don't think I would have been as strong. LOL
