Guild year in Preston.

Preston Guild year is drawing to it's close & there won't be another until 2032!!!
We have had so many fantastic events all year, processions, concerts, dances, festivals & the city has really been buzzing.
Lots of hard work gone into the whole thing but a great success.

There is a quote that says '' Once every Preston Guild '' when things happen very infrequently & here it is for all to see!

@judithg No Judith this is the old St. Georges Shopping Centre, been up ages & would think it would be built when you still around the Preston area. You go in opposite the old Woolworths & then through to Friargate.

@happypat Yes - that's the one - was open air and a sixties hideosity until 1981. Had Tom Finney's sports shop in it though I think and I used to get my Green Flash trainers from there.
