Still rocking!

For a 68 year old Rod Stewart has lost none of that edge to his voice......he was as good singing as he was years ago unlike some of the come back kids around at the moment.

Oh how fun you went to see Rod Steward. I met him in 1979... time flies. He was one of the singers for "Music for UNICEF Concerts" at the United Nations.

Sorry for the mass reply.....Harry & I have seen him six times over the years & he never changes....voice as strong as ever & he comes over as a really down to earth guy. Best concert I ever saw was at the MEN Arena where the first half was all Great American song Book & second half his usual hits......doesn't seem to do that now unfortunately.

@chris17 I prefer hi all American song Book & my favourite concert was a half & half one but unfortunately he doesn't seem to do them now. I don't think the audience at the football ground would have liked them.....they were moving about too much....he had to tell people to sit down for the slow ones anyway! These modern concerts are so noisy & everyone so restless, drives me mad.

@happypat I know what you mean about concerts nowadays. People pay all that money and keep getting up and going out to get drinks etc.
