I have no idea what this drill thing is in the sea at Clevelys..it wasn't there last week.
Took this photo into the sun so the light is quite dark.

We had a similar platform here at Ramsgate, it was used when the wind turbines were being installed, love the light on the water.

its not to do with the shale gas is it? nice light, this is one of my favourite places to walk, we sometimes park at knott end and get the ferry and tram
