Here us my little courtesy car. I have it all week I think while mine is having its body work done.
I like it, it's very nippy, the sports model so can go fast.
I would rather drive it than be a passenger though, didn't much like sitting in the passenger seat while Harry was driving, I noticed every bump in the road!
@beryl Those minis in our day were a whole different ball game to these modern ones Beryl. When you see an original they look so tiny! These modern ones are a good size & the countryman is bigger than my tourer. Yours would be great fun, I couldn't get out if one of those now!
Cool! The modern ones are rather different... better I suppose...than in earlier decades. We had a little blue one when David and Laura were little and it was amazing how much we could pack into it when holiday time came along!!!
Sadly was written off when a drunk driver crashed into it while I was driving to Aberdeen one evening. Ended up in a hedge but miraculously wasn't hurt at all!!
Love the go faster stripes. Our first car when we got married was a Mini Countryman we used to keep a plastic mug on the floor of the car because every time it rained we had to bail out the water that splashed in. It got us about for a couple of years though.
Mini's are far too low for us now. I need the height of our Subaru Foresters to get in and out of these days. Much easier on the back.
@onewing@sarah19 Harry & I had mini countrymans too when the kids were small, the type with wood on. I have no idea how we all fitted in as it was the days of the proper mini! @jgpittenger our village Great Eccleston Jane, parked outside the bakery.
