Yarn Bombed Tree ~

Driving in the hinterland last week, we saw this intricately yarn bombed tree..

What a neat looking idea. At our local library some of it has been taken over by colourful knitted squares, maybe an idea spreading perhaps

Yarn bombing looks so interesting, but I think they would do better if they knitted squares and turned them into blankets for homeless people.

They also have classes to knit squares for rugs etc too, so I guess this is the fun part for them...

@maggiemae This has become very popular & surprisingly they last well even through rain. this one has been through quite a few showers & the knitters " tizzy " them up to keep them looking OK..
