Annie and her cousin, Noah, had a little trouble getting this kite up (ever changing Colorado winds). Annie was launching the kite while Noah had the string. They were very happy it was flying. Best on black. This was our first day at The Great Sand Dunes National Park. We had set up camp and then ran to the river to have some fun! I was not able to view or post while we were away (too busy). Will catch up on both in the next few days. Thanks so much for viewing.
@cejaanderson You would love it, Jane! The water only runs through about June (snow melt). After that it is pretty dry and hot. If it is a rainy spring you probably need bug spray for mosquitoes, but it is great to see and fun to play/hike/sit by the water! :)!
