Agave Neomexicana

Well, one of the great benefits of 365 is seeing beauty in many different ways that you may not notice otherwise. Another benefit is learning about the photos you take. Today I learned that all cacti are succulents but not all succulents are cacti. This is an agave plant which is very cold hardy and drought tolerant. I always think they are so pretty when I see them. They are succulents but not cacti. So day #2 of my cacti series is not really a cactus! I am renaming my cacti series...my succulent series...LOL! Thanks so much for putting up with my rattling on and for viewing my SUCCULENT photo! Best on black!
Ha ha, nice little 'rattling' it quite amused me. I must admit I did not know all Cacti are succulents but did know all succulents aren't cacti :) Lovely shot, nice detail in the leaf edges.

super capture Harbie. You would enjoy South Africa, we have lots of cactus and succulents that grow wild everywhere. This one is in the aloe family
