Ellis and Sons' Store by harbie

Ellis and Sons' Store

This photo was taken in late March (I forgot about it) when we were driving through Lincoln, New Mexico. The tree branch posts and sagging roof caught my eye. This building is now a bed and breakfast but was originally built as a store in about 1876. It was later changed into a TB Sanitorium due to the dry valley climate. It is now the Ellis Store & Co Bed and Breakfast. Best on black. This is just my kind of building!! Thanks for viewing.
Good capture

Interesting. I'm guessing the B&B part is on the other side of the building. LOL
