All that snow and then the wonderful Colorado sky. Perfection! When I first left Colorado I moved to California and missed the mountains and the sky so much. (I was just 19 years old) A friend took a trip to Colorado and returned with a bright blue photo of the sky. Nothing else - just the sky. I wish I still had that photograph. Thank you for causing me to remember.
@stownsend. I do love the sky and sunshine here. Where were you from in CO? It's funny...we lived in Torrance and Sunnyvale when we were 1st married. My husband was in the AF. We enjoyed CA a lot! When we were stationed out East I really missed the CO sky! :)
@harbie Hi! I lived in the Westminster area of Denver and went to HS there. But my mother was from Boulder and we visited ALL the time and then had a cabin up by Ward. Best childhood ever spending a month a year up there with cousins building the family cabin - which sadly we no longer own. You will love AZ with all the contrast to CO. Where will you be visiting?
@stownsend. Sounds like a great childhood. What a wonderful thing to spend time at a family cabin! I will be visiting a friend in Fountain Hills near Chandler. I visited last year and enjoyed it so much. The flowers were gorgeous!
