Hip replacement surgery started at 9:40 am and leaving for home at 4:30 pm. Pretty amazing!! I had the option to stay in overnight but was feeling pretty good so went home. Doing well!
Pre-Covid, I volunteered in a hospital for several years and it's amazing how quickly some hip- and knee-replacement patients are up walking the halls and being discharged. (Of course, these are patients whose overall physical health is very good to start with, but nevertheless…)
