Second evening of my self imposed therapy walk (my ankle is getting back to normal hopefully I can start biking again in a week). My wife came along and we tried this shot relatively quick. I'm not really sure i'm happy with it, I would have liked us to take a step or two to the left in hindsight, but we are blocking a modern not-so nice looking building. We'll see, I think I will be trying this again in the near future. Any tips?

I can see where you would have wanted to have you guys not in the center, yet more to the left would have still been dfficult at that position because of the trees.
Maybe next time try you guys close to the camera - waist to feet, that way the trees are covered up, and you have you guys in a different manner with the background building still there
i like it in b&w and i really like the perspective from the ground. i would say maybe try walking or to show some movement? then it might seem a little more natural and less "forced" ... great shot, though!!
