Aachen Katshof by harvey

Aachen Katshof

I climbed into the bushes to get a different perspective of the famous space between the Aachen town hall (at my back) and the Cathedral, in front of me. I have written of the Cathedral before, but you can see all its elements well here. The round tower in the center was built by charlemagne in 800, the nice choir hall to the left of that was added on in the 1500's, and the tower on the right was added in the 1800's.

Nice capture. Funny that you went into the bushes to get this one.

Not only is that a beautiful collection of buildings to photograph, I love the way you managed to get some nice framing at the top of your picture. For the effort you went to, you got a wonderful perspective.
