Decidedly Unpeaceful

All the signs are there, but I refuse to admit it! Summer is on it way out and Fall is on its way in. I love the fall but I am always sad when I start to see the first leaves falling. I took this on the street right in front of our apartment.

Don't feel too dejected. Some of the early "fall" is due to drought and heat conditions. I think there is still plenty of summer left to enjoy.

As I count down the days to the end of our Canadian summer, I look at this and it pains me with a reality I can't deny. It seems like only yesterday people were posting pictures of the last snow of the season and now kids are starting school and you show us turning leaves... My viceral reaction is to shout, "STOP THAT!" (ok, I'm sorry...)
