I'm finally getting this shot up. On Friday Anne and I had a wonderful 3.5 hour train ride through the Belgian Ardennes forest, and south through most of Luxembourg until we reached the capital city.
We spent a half day walking around the city, which has a very unique setting over a natural gorge. There is alot going on in this shot, but I like it because it really captures alot of the essence of Luxembourg city. I am standing in the upper old part of the city, below you in the bottom right you see a church from a monistary that was built in the lower part of town. You can also see in the upper left where the people are sitting the ruins of a fort built there in the 800's. The small bridge going over the river with the nice reflection is the remains of the medevial town walls, of which you can also see a tower in the upper right. The very large stone bridge is a train bridge from the 1800's.
