love this row of red geraniums in the little square directly in front of the Aachen cathedral. I framed this on an angle simply to try and add a little bit more to the photo, and I liked how it put those shadows from the flags relatively in the center of the shot. I shot this in RAW at about one stop underexposure so the sky was not washed out (I simply moved the frame so more sky was in the frame and hit the exposure lock button, I am really using that a ton lately). I bumped up the foreground lighting with photoshop RAW processing.
My wife and I had a wonderful weekend in Luxembourg, we spent 1.5 days in the capital city and a half day in a small city in the North, it was a really nice country, and the capital was really different from most cities we have seen simply because of its impressive geographical layout. More of those shots from this weekend coming as I get to them this week.
Knock-out photograph, Steve, with the sky and clouds looking fabulous and not "lost"! I love seeing all you photograph...arm-chair traveling at its best! And having never seen Luxembourg, I look forward to more of your photos!
