JPod

TV and the Internet are good because they keep stupid people from spending too much time out in public.

Literary Week comments on sad people like me from the book JPod by Douglas Coupland.
I must read that!

@harveywilcox Guessing this is your comment and not Jay's (but correct me if I am wrong).

You should, but if you haven't already, start with Microserfs. And, of course, Generation X, which is a must read just for it's place in culture and for defining in the eyes of some, rightly or wrongly, us Generation Xers, although I preferred Microserfs.

@harveywilcox He wrote Generation A which was not a sequel as such, but was written in the same style as Generation X, about a group of people thrown together from all over the world because they were stung by bees, that were believed to be extinct. It's Ok, but I still like the Microserfs/JPod books. Oh, and Girlfriend in a Coma, but mainly because of all of the hidden Smiths song titles.
