The sun was stunning this evening as it set. I managed to balance on a chair to get this shot out of Sam's open bedroom widow, (as I was getting all sorts of flare and reflections when I tried it through the fixed double glazed panels).
I have been hoping to get a glimpse of the Comet PanSTARRS, maybe even to get a photo, but it has been consistently cloudy in the west after sunset, and today was no exception. It is still bitterly cold, despite it having been a beautiful sunny day.
