This is a poetic picnic celebrated on the last Saturday in June. Patron Jan Kochanowski was a Renaissance poet who established patterns to the Polish literary language.
In spite of the heat, many people came to listen to poetry performed by actors. It was a very successful meeting.

I had never heard of the concept of "name day" until I lived in Poland. And what a way to celebrate poetry! Your capture of the peole, accented by the light, shows the concentration to the event!
