Such a lovely soft focus. Your images always have me tilting my head and trying to figure out -- how did she get that?

@jyokota This is a close up using a wide angle lens. Everything in manual mode: maximum aperture and minimum distance. I focus by moving the camera until the subject is in focus, the rest is blurred/ soft. When I need a bit wider dof, I slightly reduce the aperture. A bit of fun and you have to have a nice background.

Oooohh -thanks for the tip. Your Exif files don't reveal your distance. I'll try this out as soon as I can be around some dense flowers.

@jyokota This is a very bright lens and only manual. Unfortunately not connected to the system and I don't know what the focusing distance, aperture and shutter speed are. This makes later analysis difficult, but the fun is great.
