The ubiquitous goldenrod

Goldenrod is a beautiful plant and takes good honey. But it quickly gains new areas and displaces native plants. Here taken in the dark forest with backlight of the setting sun.

I like the darker look at the goldenrod. What does the phrase 'takes good honey" mean?

@randystreat It means that goldenrod is a honey plant. Sorry, all languages, even the native one, are a mystery to me. I have lived in a numerical world, it was a wonderful world.

Beautiful shot but an invasive plant. In Sweden we are told to reduce them as far as possible.

@haskar I guessed it might be a common enough phrase in your language. I've never heard anyone hear talk about goldenrod honey, but given the amount we have, I'll bet the bees use it to make honey here. Thank you for explaining the phrase.
