I have been interested in photography all my life and remember quite well developing my first black and white films myself... My favorite subjects are...
Cool shot. May I share with a friend in my book club? She led us to read a book called The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating by Elizabeth Tova Bailey. The author had an illness which required her to be bedfast for months and months. A friend had scooped up a flower and a snail and brought it to her. She watched and studied that snail for a very long time. The book got my friend interested in snails too.
Lovely POV of the snail, the texture of the skin is wonderfully clear.
I’ve heard of the book that Kathy mentions; it’s an intriguing study and observation of a snail in a pot plant. I’ve been meaning to read it, forgot all about it; I’m delighted that this subject has come up to remind me to find this book. Thank you, Kathy and Haskar.
Excellent macro- right down to the detail on the eye. I guess they're more interesting than slugs, but I'm not so good with squishy things. Amazing shot.
