I took this family portrait today in a rehabilitation center. My mom ended up there after her second stroke. It was supposed to be for a year, but the pandemic started and it stayed. A visit through the glass and a phone call. I visit my mother once a week. This time, she could also see her grandson who came for Easter. Mom is behind the glass and I am in the reflection with my son.
I have been interested in photography all my life and remember quite well developing my first black and white films myself... My favorite subjects are...
Wonderful reflection of the 3 generations. Nice to see you Hannah. Hope the day will come soon when you are able to take your mother back home. You have your mother's eyes.
Cool shot, sorry to hear she had suffered a stroke. It must have been so very hard for your mom not to have physical visits from family members. I hope she is doing better.
Very creative and so sad that you can’t hug your mother.
My father-in-law just passed away in a home and we were able to go in to see him for the last 2 weeks after more than a year of not seeing him and hugging him.
You are lucky your mom is on the first floor :)
