"Found Objects Art" - first something must be lost, abandoned. This is a lost glove. It's not done the way I wanted, but as soon as I tried the camera in low pov, people picked me up and started asking me how I was feeling. I haven't tried any more...
I have been interested in photography all my life and remember quite well developing my first black and white films myself... My favorite subjects are...
Nice that people were concerned and didn't just leave you there!. This is a wonderful perspective and the pedestrians add so much value...hope you didn't have to stay there too long to get them in the shot!
Nice image here. I would be interested in maybe a more aggressively edited version if you get a chance. One with darker and more edgy color, maybe crank up the Clarity and Dehaze sliders on your editing program? You might likey!
@ggshearron Yes, you're right, editing changes a lot. This shot was taken for the "for2023" challenge and is therefore b&w. The theme is "lost glove" and that's why I needed to bring it to the fore. All the rest of the street, this is the background that suggests a lost item in a big city. To get this effect in the monochrome edition, I marked the glove with a mask and after inverting the mask, I brightened everything and reduced the contrast (shadows +80, dehaze -10). I think that created the image of the glove as the most important thing in the picture. And that's the effect I wanted.
