I would hate to think that this is your commute every day. Before retirement my job was about a half hour ride without traffic, but there were days when I would get stuck at work and leave later and it would take an hour and a half to get home. If it weren't for Eisenhower and his grand idea of an interstate highway system we might never be have been able to experience traffic like your picture. Thanks Ike.
This was 495 - but down south in Milford. The whole road looked looked like a parking lot going southbound yesterday - luckily I was going north and after this it was smooth sailing. I only work down there one day a week so I do not have to deal with this every day. Unfortunately the day I work is Friday and people seem to forget how to drive by the end of the week (ok, they probably forget every day!) so I get this a lot, especially in the summer. I better prepare myself mentally now... ;)
Hello fellow UMass Alum! I don't miss this kind of traffic, I now work from home full time and love it, lucky me.
I think this is one of your gravy shots.
I am most proud that I did not rear end the person in front of me while taking the picture. It is a little tricky looking at the little screen and realizing all those red lights mean brakes!!
