This is by far the tackiest Christmas decoration I have - and I absolutely love it to death! I inherited it the year we had the awful ice storm that knocked our power out for the two weeks before Christmas. We got power back at 5pm on Christmas Eve but there was no way I was going to decorate a tree by then. So my parents offered me this fiber optic marvel - just to have something twinkly. It revolves (although not nearly as fast as this picture makes it look...) and changes colors and makes a vague grinding noise and is generally ridiculous but the boys and I can't get enough of it. Last year the Elf on the Shelf actually hid in it once and spent the whole day going round in circles! Obviously I don't aspire to have a Martha Stewart type Christmas around here and sometimes you just can't beat the right amount of Christmas Tacky!!
I LOVE this tree!!!!!! I'd love tohave one like that for school, I just know the kids would go crazy!! If you EVER consider throwing it out, please throw it in my direction?
