My husband got this seed sock for Christmas. It looks a little strange but the Thistle seeds actually stick out through tiny holes in the fabric so in theory it would be a big hit with the little birdies but not so much the squirrels.... We were on the verge of considering it a bit of a bust since not one bird had shown interest in it - until this intrepid little Goldfinch arrived. He seemed quite happy with it - and definitely enjoyed the fact that he did not have to share it with any of the other brutes trying to get at the suet. I dont know if it will ever get more popular but I still think this makes it a keeper!
